Terms & Conditions
When you make a booking with us, the first person named on the booking is agreeing on behalf of all persons listed on the booking that they have:
- read and accepted these Agency Terms & Conditions;
- given consent to our use of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and is authorized to disclose personal details on behalf of all persons listed on the booking, including any special categories of data such as information on health conditions or disabilities;
- confirmed that they are over 18 years of age; and
- accepted financial responsibility for payment of the booking on behalf of all persons listed on the booking.
1. Contract
When you make a booking with us, you will be entering into a contract with the transport provider specified on your e-ticket (known as the Supplier/Principal). As an agent, we are not responsible for the services provided by the Supplier/Principal or for any acts or omissions on their part. It is important that you read both our Terms and Conditions carefully.
Your booking will be confirmed and a contract between you and the Supplier/Principal will be formed once we send you confirmation on their behalf. Please note that we are entitled to refuse any order that you place on behalf of the Supplier/Principal. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to allocate a Supplier/Principal to every booking request, but we will notify you by email as soon as possible if we are unable to do so.
2. Liability
We do not assume any responsibility for any agreement you make or for any Transport Arrangements or other services you buy. We also do not accept any liability for the actions or negligence of any supplier or any other individuals or parties associated with any arrangements.
3. Booking
It is important that you carefully review all of the information that you provide to us during the booking process to ensure that it is accurate, including the details of your pick-up. Once you confirm these details, we will proceed to confirm your booking with the relevant Supplier/Principal.
Upon receipt of all booking documents, please ensure that all names, dates, and timings are correct, and notify us immediately if there are any errors. Please note that any changes required due to your error may incur a charge. The booking information that you provide to us will only be shared with the relevant Supplier/Principal and any other parties necessary for the provision of your Transport Arrangements. This information may also be disclosed to public authorities as required by law, including any sensitive personal data that you provide to us. By making this booking, you consent to the disclosure of your information to the relevant parties. Some information may also be shared with security or credit checking companies. If you are traveling outside of the European Economic Area, data protection laws may not be as stringent as those in this country. If we are unable to share this information with the relevant suppliers, either in the EEA or elsewhere, we will not be able to provide your booking. 4. Payment
When you confirm your booking you will state how you prefer to pay, by cash or credit card on pickup. We don’t accept online payments. On your pickup, you will pay the driver the full amount of your transport and you will get your receipt.
Please note that any credit/debit card processing fees (0.8% – 2.9%).
5. Prices
We may change the prices we advertise at any time, and we also have the right to correct any errors in both the advertised and confirmed prices. Please note that changes and errors can occur, so it’s important that you check the price of your chosen Transport Arrangements at the time of booking.
6. Special Requests
If you have any special requests, please inform us when you make your booking. We will pass on all such requests to the Supplier/Principal, but we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled and we will not be liable to you if they are not. Please note that our Suppliers/Principals will provide child/baby seats if requested whenever possible. However, in rare cases, such seats may not be available due to unforeseen last-minute vehicle substitution, for example. Also note that we and our Suppliers/Principals cannot guarantee that the seats provided will be a perfect fit for your child.
7. Changes and Cancellations by You
You may cancel your booking without any charge, as long as you do so at least 24 hours before the pick-up time specified in your reservation. If you need to cancel or amend your booking, you can do so online via the “Cancel Booking” at the bottom of our website. Please make sure that you receive written confirmation of any changes to your booking before you travel.
If you need to request changes to your reservation within 24 hours of the pick-up time, you must contact the Supplier/Principal directly using the phone number provided in your booking confirmation email.
7. Changes and Cancellations by You
You may cancel your booking without any charge, as long as you do so at least 24 hours before the pick-up time specified in your reservation. If you need to cancel or amend your booking, you can do so online via the “Cancel Booking” at the bottom of our website. Please make sure that you receive written confirmation of any changes to your booking before you travel.
If you need to request changes to your reservation within 24 hours of the pick-up time, you must contact the Supplier/Principal directly using the phone number provided in your booking confirmation email.
8. Changes and Cancellations by the Supplier/Principal
If there are any significant changes to your confirmed Transport Arrangements or if they are cancelled by the Supplier/Principal, we will notify you as soon as possible. We will also act as a mediator between you and the Supplier/Principal to provide any alternative arrangements offered by the Supplier/Principal.
9. Our responsibility for your booking
Your agreement is sole with the Supplier/Principal, and you must adhere to their booking conditions. As an agent, we are not responsible for the execution of the Transport Arrangements. Our obligations are limited to fulfilling the booking based on your instructions. Any information we provide to you about the Transport Arrangements is given in good faith and without liability on our part. However, if we are found liable to you, our maximum liability is twice the cost of the commission we earn from your booking. This limit applies proportionally to affected individuals. We do not exclude or limit any liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or the negligence of our employees acting within the scope of their employment.
10. Complaints
Since the contract for your Transport Arrangements is with the Supplier/Principal, any inquiries or concerns about them should be directed to them. You can submit such inquiries through our website’s dedicated page at https://cretetaxi24.com/contact/. If you have a complaint, you must submit it within 28 days of using the Supplier/Principal’s services. Any issues with your Transport Arrangements during your use of them must be immediately reported to the Supplier/Principal. Failure to follow this procedure may reduce or eliminate the amount of compensation you are entitled to, as there will be less opportunity for the Supplier/Principal to investigate and address your complaint.
11. Vehicle Descriptions and Standards
The descriptions of facilities provided for your transport are based on information from the relevant Supplier/Principal. They are meant to offer guidance regarding the amenities you can expect. However, standards and ratings may differ between suppliers and countries, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any ratings provided. The images of the vehicle make and model displayed on the booking page are real, and we guarantee that these specific vehicles will be provided.
12. Law and Jurisdiction
The Terms & Conditions are subject to Greek law.
13. Documentation & Information
All descriptions and content on our website or other materials provided by us are on behalf of the relevant Supplier/Principal and are intended to provide a general idea of the services offered. Please note that not all details regarding the services provided can be included on our website. All services are subject to availability.
